For the first time ever the parade will feature the innovation and musical twist of some of the greatest jewish entertainers and singers Mordechai Ben David, Avraham Fried, Lipa Schmeltzer, and Uncle Moishe. This is something you dont want to miss.

After the concert the central parade will pass by 770 Eastern Parkway, in the grand tradition of a Lag Baomer Parade.

The parade will be composed of all the classic favorites including marching bands, military parades as well as thestars of the show the jewish boys and Girls.

    Just as the story which Rabbi Groner from Australia told when he made a parade and the Frirdike Rebbe said that the Alte Rebbe was by his parade I am sure all the Rabeim will be by this parade! Great Job!

    BH,
    I am sure Rabbi Hecht remembers, that The Rebbe once was against turning the parade into a “concert” I think he said, will not come out as this is NOT a concert (They wanted to invite M. Bendavid or another singer).
    Try to get this cleared before investing so much efforts. YG@SP

    I’m sure you bring lots of nachas to the Rebbe…lets hope Moshiach will be here already and we’ll march through the streets of Yerusalaim!!!

    The Rebbe did not say he did not want the parade to turn into a concert. He did not want to be outside when the concert happened.

    As to what entertainment occurred BEFORE the Rebbe joins parade, I, for one, believe the Rebbe is receiving much Nachas from the efforts the organizers are putting in to ensure the largest possible turnout.

    After all, isn’t Achdus what it’s all about?

    BUT it is symptomatic of post gimmel tamuz syndrome; we continue to the externalities ithout the main point.
    when mbd was going to sing ONE extra song (besides for the 1 or 2 scheduled ones) the rebbe said not to turn it into a concert. and then th focus was the rebbe talkingg.
    and now?
    i am waiting for all the ‘stop being negative’ comments but read through all the rebbe sichos, the same rebbe who loved every jew out us in our place plenty of times and criticized chabad and friends fo lubavitch much more than he criticized others

    Even if your point is valid, why leave that remark on an open forum which will undoubtedly cause people to argue this way and that, better bring it up directly to the arrangers, and maybe they’ll explain to you how you have nothing to worry about.

    Can’t wait, may we already have this parade in Yerushalayim.
