Video: Improv Inspired ‘Mission’ Creates FC Awareness
You may have heard about the phenomenon called Improv Everywhere, or even encountered it in person. In order to create awareness for its campaign, the Friendship Circle of Michigan created an exact such ‘scene’ at a Detroit Pistons game on Saturday Jan 16th.
The scene they created was when a group of 190 volunteers suddenly ‘froze’ during the halftime show all over the stadium. The scene created confusion and inspired interest. When the mission was over the group took off their shirts to reveal their bright yellow t-shirts saying “Support Friendship Circle, VoteFC.com”.
Friendship Circle is competing against 100 other charities for a chance to win up to $1 million from a competition by Chase Bank called “Community Giving”.
