Boruch Hashem, that Curtis Sliwa and the guardian angels cared about helping protect Jews in Crown Heights. However, his story seems a little mixed up-the Rebbe would not have given dollars at a farbrengen on Shabbos.

How did he get a Rebbe Dollar on Shabbos!?!?!?

    Some detail is missing!!!!

Yep, it sure dosn’t make sense. Maybe he was by the Rebbe twice.

which dollars has pictures of the rebbe inserted over george washington? this whole story sounds bogus to me.
also, he claims that the rebbe was babbling along etc. – a bit inappropriate for crownheights.info to post such a vide

On Sundays, during dollars, there was a guy outside 770 that would stick a picture of the Rebbbe over Washington’s face and sometimes frame it etc. for a small charge.

The way he talks is disrespectful – whether he’s a skeptic or not, it doesn’t make a difference. Any decent goy wouldn’t speak about an elder like that.

All credit to the Guardian Angels. But this is unacceptable.

  • just speculating

it’s possible that he gave him the dollars motzei shabbos…

People, please. There is a VIDEO of the Rebbe giving him a dollar on Sunday and then giving him another one “for extra protection”. I heard him YEARS AGO (when it was fresher in his mind probably) tell about it on his radio show, very reverently, and say how he felt the Rebbe’s brocha saved his life.
