I don’t see why they ‘stir concerns’ except for that they want to be left alone, like a lot of people in upstate New York. Granted, they are not smart about media, it would look much better for them if someone agreed to appear on camera. But, a lot of people are suspicious of camera people (being a camera person myself) and especially Fox News.
I think this is a great example of Fox News’ ability to create a story out of fear and speculation when there is nothing newsworthy about it.
