the hat isnt the problem. Its these vague platitudes of light vs darkness thrown around which mean nothing to the people listening. No one even has the wherewithal to use words like moshiach and geula. Its ridiculous to not use them and makes us really look like idiots without any context. and dont give me any excuses about mishichists ruining the topic. That is the biggest load of balogny there is. You can talk plenty about moshiach and geula and not bring up an absolute opinion as to the identity of moshiach. and even if someone asks about it you can politely avoid it. That is , if you really believe its important.

yup I agree that interview wasn’t handled brightly at all – with all due respect one needs to decline if they know they will sound or come across as weird or garbled message-wise.
I personally found myself saying Huhh? more then once.
