I will not be intimidated by the traffic cops or their union.I will continue my mission until those in uniform understand that they have to abide by the same set of laws that they rigorously enforce on us.
I wonder if the community can apply for “relaxed enforcement” on days like purim, erev yomtov, and BaHaB ?
In Crown heights it is very difficult to find parking.We have a verbal agreement with the police dept that on alternate side days we can double park and enjoy a temporary respite.
And from time to time a rogue traffic enforcement agent ignores our agreement with the local precinct and writes summonses to all the double parked cars.
Cases like that really upset me, and therefore I vow to continue holding up a mirror to them and leveling the playing field.
