Found: A passenger who was on the boat to America with the Rebbe!
In part of the upcoming film, The Early Years, Volume IV, JEM has found and interviewed a passenger on the Steamship Serpa Pinto; the ship the Rebbe and Rebbetzin were on to come to the United States in June, 1941.
In spirit of the My Encounter with the Rebbe project, JEM searched for any living individuals who were with the Rebbe and Rebbetzin on that fateful trip in June of 1941. They have been studying the ship’s manifest and have been successful in finding a few people who remember that trip. Yvonne Davidson was a seventeen year old girl at the time.

My dad and grandmother were on that crossing when they moved here (USA). My grandfather had come over a few months prior.
