A great new video service for Shluchim has created major buzz for High Holiday marketing.

“People have come to our services, and mentioned that they couldn't get into other places for the ticket offices were closed, and then they saw our video ad and said I'm definitely coming here.” Said Rabbi Yosef Konikov from Chabad of South Orlando. “Actually a few people told us that,” he adds.

Chabad Hits YouTube in Style for Simchas Torah!

A great new video service for Shluchim has created major buzz for High Holiday marketing.

“People have come to our services, and mentioned that they couldn’t get into other places for the ticket offices were closed, and then they saw our video ad and said I’m definitely coming here.” Said Rabbi Yosef Konikov from Chabad of South Orlando. “Actually a few people told us that,” he adds.

Rabbi Konikov refers to a video called ‘Last Minute‘ that was created by Jewish Abstract Media (JAM), a production company formed to promote positive Jewish content. JAM recently partnered with Mendy Pellin to create videos for Shluchim. As Mendy puts it: “It made me blush when I watched some Shluchim on YouTube… When Hollywood asked me to help make the Rabbis look good, I signed up right away!”

For a nominal fee Shluchim give their information via jabmedia.org and within 24 hours they have a video that would otherwise cost them thousands to produce.

The new video is sure to create major buzz in time for Simchat Torah.

“We have tested it on many types of people and perfected it to target the crowd that Chabad seeks to attract,” said David Weiss, who is involved in the project.

    Great work Mendy!

Hava Nagila is an official Zionist song and as we know chabad is very much against Zionism (the Rebbe was against creating the STATE of Israel -but once it was established he gave himself over to it with his heart and soul-) this song (not the tune nor the words, but the confection of the two) was created by a renowned Zionist named Abraham Zevi Idelsohn. It isn’t a very appropriate song for a chabad house advertisement.
