“Esa Einai” In Tribute to The 45 Souls Lost in Meron With Chazan Aryeh Hurwitz
In honor f the 45 souls lost in the tragedy in Meron, Chazan Aryeh Hurwitz sings a soul-stirring rendition of Esa Einai from Cantor Moshe Koussevitzky.
A prayer for the safety of our holy brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisrael.
At a time like this we need to remind ourselves that “hinei lo yanum vlo yishan Shomer Yisrael.”
Hashem, the gaurdian of the yidden does not sleep nor slumber.
The event was a memorial tribute concert, remembering the 45 souls we’ve lost in Meron less than 2 weeks ago.
The concert was streamed live from the Park East Synagogue in Manhattan. Arranged by the Shul’s executive director and Cantor, Benny Rogoznitzky.
Featured at this concert were cantors Netanel Hershtik, Yaakov Lemmer, Zevy Muller, Yossi Pomorantz, Chaim David Berson, Avraham Burnholtz, Conductor Russel Gerr and his choir.
Finally, the musical accompaniment directed and played by Cantor Eric Freeman.
