Video: Rare Footage of the Rebbe at Shachris
CrownHeights.info has obtained Never-before-seen footage of the Rebbe davening Shachris, which was filmed by the family of an Israeli boy who came to celebrate his Bar-Mitzvah in 770 in the winter of 1991.
The boy, Rotem Benaim, had the unique oppetunity to get an Aliya before the Rebbe’s on the 9th of Shvat, 5751.
Two months prior, the boy went to the Rebbe for Sunday dollars to receive a Brocha on his Hanochas Tefilin, which is depicted at the beginning of the video.
The film was made available by Rabbi Mendel Schtroks, Shliach to Cologne, Germany.
