A Celebration: Kamhin Bris in Hong Kong
HONG KONG [CHI] — Over 200 people packed Hong Kong’s Jewish Community Center on Monday, celebrating the Bris of Boruch Sholom Kamhin, son of Moshe and Miriam (nee Greene) Kamhin.
Grandparents, Mr. Isaac and Freida Kamhin were honored with Kvater and Kvaterin. Mohel Yaakov Worde came from Morristown for the Birs, and Rabbi Daniel Greene of Keystone Point, FL was honored with being Sandek. The Rebbe’s letter was read by Getzy Markowitz from New York.
Mr. Soli Spigler of Melbourne, Australia was honored as Sandik Meumod while Rabbi Mordechai Avtzon, regional director of Chabad of China, read the Brochos and name.
A lavish Seuda and lively farbrengen followed the Bris.
