Giant Fruit-Roll-Up Menorah lit at Lubavitch Hebrew Schools Chanukah Celebration
TENSFLY, NJ — Students of the Lubavitch Hebrew School in Tenafly looked on with watering mouths on Sunday, December 9, as the five-and-half-foot Menorah covered in Fruit-Roll-Up, made by students themselves, was lit at the Hebrew School’s annual Chanukah celebration.
The celebration included a special theatrical performance by the Hebrew School’s Drama Club. Also featured at the celebration was a live game show, Chanukah sand crafts, and of course doughnuts, latkes and gelt.
The Chanukah fun was shared with parents, family members, and lots of friends, as it was Bring-A-Friend Day at Hebrew School. The best part? Eating the giant Menorah at the end! Lubavitch Hebrew School is open to families of all backgrounds and affiliations.
