Chanukah in Vancouver on Ice
VANCOUVER, Canada — Two hundred people skated to Chanukah music at the West end arena Downtown Vancouver BC this Sunday, the sixth day of Chanukah.
Chanukah On Ice, a super fun Chanukah skate party organized by Chabad of Downtown Vancouver, under the directorship of Rabbi Binyomin and his wife Malky Bitton, wasn’t just about the ice-skating, or even the latkes and donuts. The objective was transforming ice to fire. An incredible over one meter high sculpted ice menorah stood in the centre of the rink.
