Menorah Lighting at JRCC in Toronto
THORNHILL, ONT, Canada [CHI] — Menorah Lighting organized by the Jewish Russian Community Center, there were a few hundred people in attendance, including mayor of Toronto and Vaughn, there was a spactacular juggling fire show. Latkes and doughnuts were served and Chanukah Gelt was handed out.
Both mayors addressed the crowed event, wich was organized by Rabbi Chaim Hildeshaim, who was also emcee, Rabbi Yoseph Zaltzman addressed the crowed as well. The Sahmaesh was lit by Mr. David Miller mayor of Toronto and the first candle was lit by Mr. Alex Schneider president of the JRCC.
