jTeens is new innovative program for teens in the Westmount community. jTeens is a volunteer community service program for teens by teens, geared to helping the less fortunate in our community.

“We see great potential in the community for a program such as this one” Says Rabbi Asher Hecht, Director of jTeens of Westmount considering the community’s welcoming attitude towards the volunteer program.

Teens earn zone credits and gain a wonderful experience; they have the opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy Pizza; but most important of all, engage in helping others and doing a Mitzvah.

Members earn community service credits for organizing and running campaigns such as Toy Drives, Sports-a-thons to benefit poor families, care baskets for soldiers and more.

The Mayor of Westmount, Karin Marx has endorsed the program and will be presenting the certificates at the end of year award ceremony.
