Celebrating Sukkos at the Rainbow Senior Citizens center in Gaithersburg

GAITHERSBURG, MD [CHI] — Rabbi Chesky Tenenbaum of Chabad of Upper Montgomery County visited the Rainbow Senior Citizens center in Gaithersburg on Chol Hamoed Sukkos and over 50 people performed the Mitzvah of Lulov and Esrog.

There was a Sukkah set up in front of the center and for many it was the first time since leaving Russia that they were able to do this mitzvah. Many of them said the blessings in tears recounting how they did it in Russia many years ago.

Rabbi Chaim Serebranski addressed the people in Russian and explained the importance of the holiday of Sukkos.
