A Memorable Sukkos in George Town!

GEORGE TOWN, Brooklyn [CHI] – Hundreds of local Jewish residents came together for a wide array of Sukkos events arranged by the local Chabad Shliach, Rabbi Avrohom Holtzberg.

Over the course of the week of Sukkos a grand Simchas Beis Hashueva took place in the Chabad House which many attended, and enjoyed lively music by a variety of performers. Special children’s programs took place as well.

An extremely successful ‘Mivtza Lulav’ campaign in the neighborhood took place with the assistance of Kvutzeh Bochurim, where they went from homes to stores and local business and giving them the opportunity to bless on the 4 minim. “George Town has been exposed for the very first time to Jewish activities on a scale that has not been seen before” said Rabbi Holtzberg.
