Moscow, Russia – This week, the first session of the summer camp 'Gan Israel' has gotten underway. The youth will enjoy their break at the permanent camp base, which is located not far from Moscow.

The first group to enjoy this long-awaited experience includes over 200 girls, aged from 7 to 12 years old. There, they will be met by a number of dedicated camp staff – students of the 'Machon Chamesh' Women's Institute in Moscow. While some of them will be working at the camp for the first time, many of them are already seasoned experts.

Moscow, Russia – This week, the first session of the summer camp ‘Gan Israel’ has gotten underway. The youth will enjoy their break at the permanent camp base, which is located not far from Moscow.

The first group to enjoy this long-awaited experience includes over 200 girls, aged from 7 to 12 years old. There, they will be met by a number of dedicated camp staff – students of the ‘Machon Chamesh’ Women’s Institute in Moscow. While some of them will be working at the camp for the first time, many of them are already seasoned experts.

The program for the girls is exciting and educational, including sessions on Jewish traditions, intellectual games, sports activities and competitions, various hobby groups and extra-curricular activities. This current camp session runs from June 21st to 29th. The next session, which will involve girls aged 11-14, will begin on July 1st.

The ‘Gan Israel’ Camp network runs throughout the countries of the Former Soviet Union and is made possible through the sponsorship of FJC President Lev Leviev and various other generous donors.
