Celebration at Chabad of Dusseldorf

Dusseldorf, Germany — In honor of Chabad of Dusseldorf sixth anniversary, Chabad held a couple of event. A corner stone was laid for the new ‘Rohr Chabad Lubavitch Center’, a festive dinner was held and a new Sefer Torah is being written.

The new center was donated by the renowned philanthropists Reb Shmuel and Reb Yekutiel Rohr, who have been assisting the Chabad House, thanks to contacts made by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch. The event was addressed by the philanthropist Ira Leibovitch, who announced his own generous contribution towards the new center. The three events were attended by hundreds of locals, community leaders, the mayor, shluchim and supporters and friends of Chabad.
