Lag BaOmer events in Detroit
Detroit, MI — At about 1:30 the rally began with around 400 people in attendance. Zalman Deren from Pittsburgh, PA and an alumni of Yeshivas Lubavitch was the MC of the event.

The children recited the twelve pesukim followed by a live hookup to Meiron, Israel the resting place of the Rashbi where they recited a chapter of psalms. The rally was followed by a magic show, with a raffle for a bike.
There was a beautiful parade, marching with a float with teffillin marking forty years of the tefillin campains since it was introduced by the lubavitcher Rebbe and shabbos candles on top, and live music.
At the carnival there were 3 moonwalks plus a giant slide a lot of exciting booths where the children played to earn tickets to get exciting prizes. The children receive a door prize including a ticket for free cotton candy. Hotdogs, snow cones and ice cold soda were for sale.
The carnival was arranged by the students of Yeshivas Lubavitch and special thanks to Mendy Wolf 19 of Morristown NJ student in the Yeshiva.
