Lag BaOmer with Chabad of the Valley
The Valley, CA — Over a thousand people from three Chabad communities of the greater Valley, Chabad of North Hollywood, Chabad of Sherman Oaks and Chabad of Encino gathered together for 4 hours on Lag B’Omer in Woodley Park.

Lively music, arts and crafts, food booths were only some of the attractions that drew the crowds.
A children’s program was held for some 400 children featuring the 12 Pesukim along with internationally famous BMX Bike Show.
Tephillin were put on with many of the visitors and participants and a great time was had by all, stated the coordinators of the event, Rabbi Mendel Lipskar of Chabad of Sherman Oaks, Rabbi Nachman Abend of Chabad of North Hollywood and Rabbi Yossi Malka of Chabad of Encino.
It was a true Kiddush Hashem and a wonderful testament to the day of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.
