Chabad Hosts Israeli Delegation at Cannes Film Festival

For the first time ever, the Israeli government has sent an official delegation to represent the Jewish State at this year’s Cannes Film Festival in southern France. The delegation was greeted warmly by the Chabad Shluchim in Cannes, led by Rabbi M.M. Matusof.

The Shluchim saw to it that both the spiritual and physical needs of the delegation were met, and affixed a Mezuzah to the entrance of the Israeli Pavilion at the festival.

A highlight of the event was an inspiring and uplifting Shabbos dinner hosted by Chabad, which was attended by all members of the Israeli delegation and many other Jewish attendees of the festival as well.
