Albanian Prime Minister Visits the Kotel

Edi Rama, the Prime Minister of Albania, visited to Kotel as part of a trip to Israel on the 25th anniversary since establishing normalized relations by his country and Israel. He was accompanied by Shliach Rabbi Yoel Kaplan, who also serves as the Chief Rabbi of Albania.

During his visit to the Kotel Mr. Rama prayed for his country and followed the custom of placing a note between the holy stones.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by his Foreign Minister and Minister of Energy. This visit comes on the heels of the 25th anniversary since Albania normalized relations with the State of Israel. During his visit he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the speaker of the Knesset.

Accompanying the delegation was Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, the Rabbi of the Kotel.
