President Meets Shliach before Rosh Hashana

A special meeting was held just before Rosh Hashanah between the president of The Republic of China (Taiwan), Mr. Ma Ying-Jeou and the Shliach to Taiwan, Rabbi Shlomi Tabib.

President Ma shook the Shliach’s hand warmly, while wishing him in Hebrew “Shana Tova”.

Rabbi Tabib granted the President a special gift on behalf of the Jewish Community – a silver cup.

The President promised to continue and do all in his might to assist the community with its special needs.
