Shluchim Save with Kids Programming

Though hectic was the name of the game at many a Chabad House during the weeks preceding Chanukah, the arrival of an unassuming white box in the mail lifted a weight off the shoulders of many shluchim and shluchos around the world. Their CKids Chanukah program had arrived.

“I showed a CKids curriculum package to city educators here in California,” says S. Diego shliach Rabbi Yudell Reiz. “They were amazed at the superior curriculum and outstanding presentation.”

Designed to save shluchim the many hours, as well as funds, necessary to produce quality children’s programs, CKids has increased the shul attendance of youth at Chabad Houses through its fully prepared weekly Shabbos and yom tov programming. Replete with creative games, well-researched stories and age appropriate activities, CKids’s innovative program has received many accolades from children and their parents.

“Our Shabbos morning kids program used to consist of adults taking turns watching the children play during davening,” Rabbi Reiz explains. “Now I have an entire curriculum, complete with scheduling, ready game pieces and parallel programs for various age groups that has the kids coming back for more!”

“With every item on the weekly schedule designed with the intent of giving over a specific Torah message in a manner suited to today’s children,” explains Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, vice chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, “shluchim are now able to give over that much more without investing the time and resources that would otherwise be required.”

A joint project of MerkosL’Inyonei Chinuch’s Suite 302 and Tzivos Hashem, CKids is available to shluchim and can be purchased by visiting www.chabadchildren.com or by calling 718-467-4400 x 347.
