Dinner Supports Jewish Education for Florida Public School Children

300 parents and guest filled the Bal Harbour ballroom for the CHAP (Community Hebrew After-School Program) Annual Dinner this past Monday. Participants were mesmerized as children ages 5-12 opened up the evening in song and dance, setting the mood for an evening to remember.

This year’s dinner had a simultaneous children’s dinner, with laser tag and loads of fun, while the adults enjoyed renowned mentalist Guy Bavli, who captivated the crowd, which sat spellbound, sitting at the edges of their seats.

Rabbi Sholom Lipskar of The Shul expressed so eloquently to parents and guest the value and tremendous need for CHAP. “It’s the most vital Jewish organization for our generation,” explained Rabbi Lipskar. “For many children, Chabad’s program is their only connection to their Jewish roots.”

The evening was highlighted by an inspiring video with of Rabbe urging everyone to take action and make educating public school children priority #1!

CHAP is run by Chabad Chayil in Highland Lakes, FL. To learn more, visit HebrewSchool.info.
