Four Orphans Undergo Bris Milahs in Ukraine

In an emotional and inspiring ceremony, the Jewish community of Zhitomir, Ukraine, celebrated the Bris Milah of four Jewish orphans, who are living and studying at the Or Avner Chabad educational campus in the outskirts of the city.

The Seudas Mitzvah was held in the brand new event hall that was dedicated earlier this month in the educational complex by philanthropist George Rohr.

The procedures were performed by expert Mohel Rabbi Yasha Gaisinovich, who has performed many thousands of Bris Milahs in the years since the fall of the Soviet Union.

Chabad of Zhitomir and Western Ukraine is directed by Rabbi Shlomo Wilhelm.
