Scottish Jews Care for Needy on Eve of New Year
Lubavitch of Scotland has mounted two 16 foot banners at central locations in Glasgow to remind Jews of the dates of the upcoming Yomim Tovim. They will be mounted for over six weeks and will be seen by most people in the community as they travel by.
Before Yom Tov over 150 Honey Cakes and Apple and Honey Gifts were distributed to numerous elderly people living in the community. Some 1,200 Tishrei Guides were distributed across the community as well.
