
Mayor DeBlasio Lights 1st Light in Park Slope
Returning to the neighborhood in which he lives, mayor Bill DeBlasio was honored with lighting the Shamosh on the first night of Chanukah at Brooklyn’s largest Menorah in Grand Army Plaza. The lighting was arranged by Rabbi Shimon Hecht of Chabad of Park Slope.
At the event jelly doughnuts and hot potato latkes were distributed to those in attendance, toys were also given out of gifts to children.

Rabbi Hecht you did an excellent job for bringing our mayor of New York he is the best mayor of New York he came to Crown Heights and of course she spoke really well about Levi Roesnbatt but the main thing is you did a great job
