Chabad Teen Network Enjoys End-of-Year Trip
CTeen Chapters from all over the state of Florida got together for a wonderful time in Orlando last week,
After settling into their hotel rooms, the teens boarded buses on their way to a campsite, where a delicious BBQ dinner was served.
As night fell, the children gathered around the campfire. The rabbis led icebreakers to get all the kids to know each other a bit. This was followed by all joining in beautiful songs describing the richness of the Jewish heritage and of course uplifting and inspiring stories by Rabbi Yosef Konikov, who spoke about the power of youth and their ability to influence and even change the world around them.”
Early the next morning, after morning prayers and breakfast, the CTeens filled their bags with lunch and snacks for the day and they were off to Universal Studios. Though everyone toured different parts of the park, all the CTeens were sure to get together throughout the day for special shows and Kodak moments.
“It was amazing to see all the kids mingling and making new friends from all over the state,” said Rabbi Yaakov Majesky. “This was especially important for some kids in smaller Jewish communities where at times he or she may feel isolated as the only Jew in his or her class.”
The day culminated with dinner. Every CTeen was presented with his very own packet Siddur as a souvenir of the experience.
“It was so nice spending time with kids who are Jewish” said Gabriel Shames of Altamonte Springs. “I got to go on my first roller coaster,” he added with a smile. “It was really cool and we need to do it again,” said Emilee Dreifus of Sanford.
CTeen—The Chabad Teen Network—is a club for Jewish teens with over 100 chapters around the world. The goal of Cteen is to provide the teenagers with a fun social club while learning about Judaism and giving back to the community. CTeen is open to all Jewish teens regardless of their background or affiliation.

I love this program. But REALLY is this the best place to take these kids.
Is this all we can offer them??
Go Rabbi G!!!!
Go Rabbi G. Florida Chabad Youth Network! You did a great job, Kol Hakovod!!!!
to number 1
No it isnt bc we need to drill in their heads about atzilus and yechi right??? You need to work with them in something that they will like and understand in an atmosphere surrounded by their fellow jews to get them to want to be more with their fellow jews where ever they go. Collage, work, shul, yommim tovim shabbos etc. Thats the whole point of this which you do not understand. and comon you think they didnt have to do something to earn this trip or you think they didnt do anything else all summer long?
You are brainless and lack experience in proper mivtzoim and shlichus.

No. 3 is correct. This is a good all round trip. What do you want the kids to do? Spend their whole time inside learning Toirah? Like a bunch of bobovers?
???
whats next VEGAS
#1 Spot on — they could have done something better with the money.
Number 3 to number 5
really? you too?? again do you think this is what they do the whole time? go on trips? you think they dont learn something alittle or daven? this is camp! maybe you dont have kids or maybe you keep your kids away from camp but this is how its done. Thats how the Rebbe’s camps in Parksville and Montreal do it too! You call that wasting money? they have been doing that for years. please go and be square somewhere else. oh but you probably dont even know what square is. Sheesh. Closed minded people who live in a box.
GO CTEEN!! Keep it going strong! You have just a small idea of what impact you are having on the youth here. Years from now they will come back to you as inspired people seeing that you are still doing the same thing by working with teens and the youth of today to make them into better people begashmius uberuchnius!
The Rebbe is smiling at you all now!
