The Rebbe’s La Grande Armée Gathers in Paris

To the tune of Napoleon’s March, hundreds of Chabad Shluchim from all over Paris posed today for a group portrait, amid the regional Kinus Hashluchim that was held last week for the Shluchim in France’s capital city.

This is the 15th annual Kinus of the Shluchim in Paris, under the leadership of Head Shliach Rabbi Shmuel Azimov.

The conference featured seminars, lectures and workshops to assist the Shluchim with their work. It was held at the Beis Chaya Mushka girls’ school in a suburb of Paris.

A grand banquet brought the Kinus to a close, with inspirational speeches, heartfelt Nigunim and a roll call by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, vice chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, who was the banquet’s guest of honor.

As at the central Kinus Hashluchim in New York, the roll call was followed by joyous singing and dancing by all those present.

A special ‘Junior Kinus’ was held for the Tze’irei Hashluchim while their fathers were participating in the main event.
