Floridians Travel Back to Celebrate Purim in the Shtetl

It was a literal recreation of an Eastern European Jewish village, as Chabad of North Hollywood, Florida was host to Purim in the Shtetl.

Located on the breathtaking campus of Chabad of Northeast Hollywood, this Purim Experience, attended by over 300 men, women, and children included horse and buggy rides, a petting zoo, a fiddler on the roof, many Tevyes, Zlatas and Goldas, the Yiddish Algeimeiner Journal at each table, wine tasting, Eastern European foods at a lavish banquet, and a fun filled afternoon and evening with Purim delicacies galore and many and other Shtetel props and backdrops.

Coordinated by Rabbi Mendy and Endi Tennenhaus, Purim in the Shtetel was a joint project of Shul of the Lakes and Chabad of South Broward.
