Lubavitch of Edgware Purchases Adjacent Property

Lubavitch of Edgware has completed the purchase of 228 Hale Lane, a 2,000 sq ft property. The house is right next door to the current Lubavitch Centre.

The last sum of money was raised an hour before Shabbos on Friday Parshas Yisro, 5772, and Rabbi Leivi Sudak finally completed the purchase. With only an hour before Shabbos, Rabbi Sudak and family, together with Rabbi Zalman Sudak, rushed to make the new house usable for Shabbos. They built a fence and lay the poles for an Eruv.

The following Sunday, the breakfast Ein Yaakov shiur was held in the new property. A formal L’Chaim was held for the local shluchim and all the supporters who helped make this happen. During the Sunday L’chaim, Mendy Sudak was honored with the putting up of the first Mezuzah on the entrance of the property. Other supporters were then honored with putting up the Mezuzahs on the other doors.

    Mazal Tov,

Levi, Zalman, Mendy and the entire Sudak family. May you only be zoche to grow in this new addition. You have always expemplified what the true meaning of a shliach is by always honoring the Rebbe in the greatest of ways especially by honesty and ehrlechkeit. Levi to see the smile on your face looking at the sold sign and the installation of the mezuza tells me it “was all worth it”.
