Bikur Cholim Room Dedicated at Brooklyn Hospital
A grand opening and mezuza ceremony was held for a new bikur cholim room at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
As the needs of the community change, the hospital will serve a growing constituency that will benefit from a full service Yad Yakov bikur cholim room.
The event, arranged and made possible by Herman Richter, the Community Liaison at the hospital, included a beautiful buffet dinner followed by a presentation and speeches by the dignitaries that attended.
Rabbi Zalman Abramowitz, who offers counseling and regular classes for the staff at the Medical Center, was one of the attendees honored with affixing the mezuzah. Other dignitaries honored included the hospital president and senior members of Hatzalah.
