Gan Izzy Manalapan Begins its 24th Year

The Marlboro – Manalapan NJ Gan Israel Day Camp, (known as Gan Izzy Manalapan) directed by Rabbi Avrohom Bernstein, began its 24th year with a super summer of discovery, fun and learning.

Known for its dedicated and great staff and a spectacular setting on Congress Hill Farm, Gan Israel combines activities that challenge campers while helping them grow spiritually, physically and socially.

In addition to a regular day camp program of sports, arts and crafts, trips, and more. Gan Israel offers onsite swimming, horseback riding, fishing, biking and hiking on its 100 acre forest.

Younger campers at CGI also learn how farm animals care for their young and have their own opportunities to hold, care and feed the animals on the farm.

For Summer 2013, Gan Israel has revamped its zipline and added a new outdoor rope course. The Camp has also expanded to include indoor facilities in Marlboro, NJ.

Gan Izzy, under the auspices of Chabad of Western Monmouth County, services the Central NJ Jewish communities.

In an empowering brochah from the Rebbe in 1991, after being notified that the Camp grew from its starting year (1990) with 28 campers to 120 campers, the Rebbe responded: “Kein Yirbu, Azkir Al Hatzion”.
