Bris Avrohom celebrates 27 year of service to the Jewish Russian Community

Bris Avrohom held its twenty seventh Annual Dinner on November 12th at the Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck, New Jersey. The night was dedicated to celebrating the many achievements of Bris Avrohom which was founded over twenty seven years ago by Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky under the direction of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

They cater to the needs of the Jewish Russian community by providing Brissin, Bar Mitzvos, and Weddings as well as ESL and other classes. They sponsor holiday gatherings around the year, including Chanukah parties and Pesach Seders. Packages are prepared and delivered to the community, so that everyone will have the necessary items to properly celebrate each holiday. They visit families and provide one-on-one counseling when needed. In addition, Bris Avrohom has printed a full assortment of Jewish texts, Siddurim, Chumashim and holiday guides, all translated into the Russian language.
