Team Friendship to Enter the ING Miami Marathon

“Team Friendship,” a group of ten runners hosted by Friendship Circle International in the ING New York City Marathon in 2010, brought in substantial publicity and over $17,000 to support the mission of several regional Friendship Circle establishments across the USA. This year, Team Friendship is already headed for a strong start in the fundraising for ING NYC Marathon 2011 and expects to double the amount they raised in 2010.

But Friendship Circle International is not satisfied to simply host a repeat success. They have already announced their intention of hosting a similar team for the ING Miami Marathon to be held on January 29 2012.

Thus far, Friendship Circle International is expecting runners from local Friendship Circle chapters in Miami Beach, Kendall, South Broward from Florida, as well as Charlotte, NC , New York City and other East-Coast chapters. Funds raised by the runners will go to their local Friendship Circle chapter.

Friendship Circle International will be providing training tips, website donation forms and branded outfits for the runners, and arrangements will be made for a Shabbaton for visiting community members.
