Children Bake Matzah with Chabad at the Shore

Atlantic County children had the opportunity to bake their own Matzah for Passover at the Chabad Model Matzah Bakery. Children, together with their parents, participated in the entire baking process the way it is traditionally done in real Passover matzah bakeries.

They helped grind wheat kernels to make flour, mixed ingredients to make sough and rolled their matzah dough really thin to ensure it wont rise. In the end each child got to take home their own matzah and a matzah baker’s hat.

The program was led by Rabbi Avrohom Rapoport of Chabad at the Shore.
