Sydney Israeli Center Welcomes New Torah

After establishing a new location, the Chabad Sydney 4 Israeli Tourist center recently completed their first Sefer Torah, enabling them to provide all the essential services for the many Israeli tourists that travel through Sydney.

The center is directed by Rabbi Alon Hazi with the assistance of Shmuel Marantz and Arie Shapiro.

Hundreds participated in the Siyum at the Mizrach Shul, where the final letters of the new Torah were written. Once completed a Hachnosas Sefer Torah was held with music and dancing through the streets of Sydney.
