Chabad Preschool Receives Environmental Recognition
Ganeinu, a Chabad-Lubavitch run Early Childhood Development Center in Jacksonville, Fla., was designated as an “Eco-Healthy” center by the National EHCC – Eco-Healthy Child Care Agency for meeting at least 25 environmental standards.
Located at Chabad of Southside, Ganeinu is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families.
“Our first priority is providing a safe and healthy environment for our students,” said its director, Chana Novack. “A safe and healthy environment enables our preschool to provide students with optimum development and education during these most crucial years to help set them on a path for success in their subsequent schooling and in life.”
Ganeinu’s recognition makes it the 30th Eco-Healthy school in Florida since the Oregon Environmental Council began the nationwide program in 2005.
