iJew Weekend Seminar at ChabaDanmark
A great weekend, and inspiring experience took place in Copenhagen Denmark. The weekend started with a Friday night meal for students, where Dr Laz spoke about ‘skullcups and switchblades.
A Shabbos meal with Guest speaker Edwin Shuka, who told about his escape from Saddam Hussain.
Sunday, a full day seminar took place, with guest speakers including the Israeli ambassador, The chief rabbi of Denmark and the Shabbat speakers. While this was going on, there was a parallel program for children, doing Purim activities.
The day ended with a concert by Dr. Laz. A few hundred people participated during the weekend, and many wrote afterwords to say how moved they were. The weekend was a project of ChabaDanmark, directed by Rabbi Yitzi and Rochel Loewenthal.
