Consuls and Governor at Our Big Kitchen

AUSTRALIA — Sydney’s Our Big Kitchen launched a new initiative giving the public the on line opportunity of thanking the country’s State Emergency Services…NSW Governor Marie Bashir performed the opening honours.

Consuls, including three from Muslim countries, donned Our Big Kitchen aprons and chef’s’ hats in advance of the Governor’s arrival and busied themselves preparing food.

Countries represented at Our Big Kitchen were Bangladesh China, German, Indonesia, Japan, Kiribati, Morocco, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Sri Lanka the United Kingdom and the USA.

The Consular chefs were joined in the Kitchen by the Leader of the House in the NSW Parliament, John Aquilina.

Our Big Kitchen is directed by Shliach, Rabbi Dovid Slavin.
