Six Brisos in Honor of the Rashab

The Jewish community of Rostov celebrated the 150th birthday of the Rebbe Rashab by visiting the Ohel and holding a community wide prayer ceremony. Members of the community wrote panim and requested blessings for themselves and the community.

Six Brisos were performed, for people from ages 8 months to 50 years old. Two of them chose the name Sholom Dovber, one of them is a young man 24 years old who made a resolution the year before on chof cheshvan to do a bris and wrote so in his pan, and this year on the same day fulfilled his promise and chose the name Chaim Sholom Dovber, his father was honored with being the sandak. The other Sholom Dovber was a 50 year old man.
