Rabbi Arele and his wife Chaya (nee Krinsky) Matusof will be moving out on Shlichus to Calgary, Alberta. The new Shluchim will be serving under Rabbi Menachem Matusof, who is the Head Shliach of Alberta.

Rabbi Arele and his wife Chaya (nee Krinsky) Matusof will be moving out on Shlichus to Calgary, Alberta. The new Shluchim will be serving under Rabbi Menachem Matusof, who is the Head Shliach of Alberta.
They will be running the Chabad Youth Center in Calgary, including Hebrew School, Summer winter and spring camps, Shabbos and Yom Tov programs and more. They will also be starting a Friendship Circle which which will be the first in Alberta.
They will be Joining Rabbi Moti Groner Shliach in Calgary, director of Adult Education and JLI. Mr. Daniel Shimonov, and Mr. Avriel Gafni Local Ba’alei Tshuvah who have joined the team of Shluchim.
Though married for only a half of year, they are moving on Shlichus right after Sukkos do to the high demand for Chabad youth activities and FC in Calgary.
Calgary is a rapid growing city with a population of almost 1.1 million is estimated to have over 10,000 Jews. The city is 185 miles south of Edmonton which has a smaller population, however more of a religious Jewish community.
Chabad came to Calgary in 1988. By now Approximately 2,500 families are affiliated with Chabad which hosts many programs for all ages and has daily Minyonim.
