Chabad in Simcha Monica had a booth at the local National Night Out, put on by the SM Police Department.
Using every opportunity for Hafatzas Hamayanos, (as the Rebbe said in a sicha about Chabad in Simcha Monica’s cruise 23 years ago this week), Chabad in Simcha Monica had a booth at the local National Night Out, put on by the SM Police Department.
They were giving out Kosher popcorn and cotton candy , as well as putting on tefillin with men and boys, giving out candlesticks, signing up children for camp, Bas Mitzvah Club etc, and in general spreading the Rebbe’s Mivtzoyim.
A highlight was when the jewish policemen rolled up their sleeves to put on Tefillin.
