Kids from Sderot Enjoy Camp in Denmark

A group of children from Sderot, including 5 orphans, joined the Gan Yisroel overnight camp in Denmark.

For the 3rd year in a row, Friends of chabadenmark sponsored a group of children for a stress free fun vacation, in a safe atmosphere. The children, for most of them the first time boarding a plane or leaving Israel had an exciting and enjoyable time. They visited amusement parks, Canoeing, boating, bowling, Hiking, overnights and many fun filled activities.

They were a part of the Danish Gan Yisroel overnight camp, together with local Danish children. The Gan Yisroel facilities this year was a large sports boarding school in the picturesque Danish countryside. Immediately after the overnight camp finished, Gan Israel day camp at Chabad in Copenhagen started.

The Sderot group was selected and arranged from the Israeli side by Rabbi Pizem, and from the Danish side by Rabbi Yitzi and Rochel Loewenthal, with the able and dedicated staff of M. Posner, M. Munity, S Cohen, B. Pruss, N. Goren , M. Pizem and M. Alumni,
