Yarchei Kallah Finishing up in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES — Yeshiva Ohr Elchonon Chabad’s 33rd Yarchei Kallah comes to an end on Sunday July 18th. Regardless of backround, affiliation, or knowledge jewish people from all over California came together to study for a day in yeshiva.

They enjoyed one on one chavrusa with the students as well as lectures from noted Rabbis, all while being in the warmth of the Yeshiva atmoshphere. The day started off with Chassidus, A lecture given by Rabbi Mendel Schapiro, teacher and mentor at the Yeshiva. Followed by Davening and Breakfast.

Afterwards, a one on one Chavrusa with the students, continued with a shuir on that subject by the Rosh Hayeshiva, Rabbi Ezra Shochet. After mincha and Lunch they sat down to learn with students Talmud. A lecture was then Given by Rabbi Shimon Raichik of Cong. Levi Yitzchak on The laws of “Prayer on the go”.

The day culminated with a lecture from Rabbi Reuven Wolf of the May’yon Yisroel center on the Paradox of Golus.
