BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Chabad of Brooklyn Heights celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Mei Menachem Community Mikvah Dinner in style at the Prospect Park Picnic House with an evening dedicated to fostering harmony in the home.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Chabad of Brooklyn Heights celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Mei Menachem Community Mikvah Dinner in style at the Prospect Park Picnic House with an evening dedicated to fostering harmony in the home.

World-renowned guest speaker, Rabbi Manis Friedman spoke of the need to reclaiming intimacy within marriage and captivated the audience with his ancient wisdom and modern wit.

The Aishet Chayil Award was given to Tila Raskin, whilst the Sholom Bais Award was given to Emma & Uri Horowitz. A special standing ovation was given to contractor Yankie Sufrin who built the glamorous Mikvah in Brooklyn Heights.

Rabbi Aaron Raskin noted that the event, “made many people in our community aware of this scared and fundamental mitzvah which serves as the basis to peace in the home”.
