Chabad of Melbourne CBD's Rabbi Chaim Herzog has been appointed chaplain of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) city campus. Rabbi Herzog said the role was particularly important for overseas students studying at the university. He was inducted by Riad Galil, who works on the campus in the area of student services.

Chabad of Melbourne CBD’s Rabbi Chaim Herzog has been appointed chaplain of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) city campus. Rabbi Herzog said the role was particularly important for overseas students studying at the university. He was inducted by Riad Galil, who works on the campus in the area of student services.

Since it’s establishment in 1998 by the young Rabbi, Chaim Herzog, of the Chabad of Melbourne CBD (Central Business District); one of the Mosdos of the Rebbe has been going from strength to strength reaching out to Jewish business people and young professionals.
