Photos: Released Time Winter Camp Visits Crown Heights!

The Released Time Program of Greater NY under the Directorship of the NCFJE has hosted it’s Annual February Winter Camp in both Queens and Brooklyn with more than 100 Released time kids in attendance.

Of course the Winter Camp could not have been made possible without the tireless devotion of the 770 Yeshivah Bochurim who give up from their precious time learning each day, to devote themselves to the precious children of the “Rebbe’s MitVuch Shah” – the Released Time Program’s Winter Camps.

The Brooklyn Division was made possible by the United Lubavitcher Yeshiva Ocean Parkway who make their facilities and resources available to make the camp a tremendous success. The Queens Winter Camp is hosted by the Machne Yisrael Day Camp and Chabad JCC campus in Kew Gardens, NY successfully running it’s 3rd year of Winter camps with dozens of new enrollments each year.

The ultimate goal of these winter camps is to afford these public school children a fun and educational Jewish experience during their school winter break, where children daven each day, learn about fundamental jewish concepts and are served 2 delicious kosher meals each day. The effect these camps leave on the children is immeasurable.
